I am currently working on my planner for 2020 and have chosen to go with Elizabeth Craft Design's A5 Slim "Planner Essentials" planner. You can see the intro here:
For the actual calendar, I created my own printout, which I'm sharing below. There are two versions, so you can choose if you want your week to begin on Sunday or Monday!
When you print the page, choose "actual size" in the options, rather than "fit to page."
Once printed, cut the page down the center. I have drawn dotted lines on my photo as an example. Then trim each half page into 8 1/4 by 4 3/4, by only trimming the OUTSIDE edges of the pages, not the inner parts where the whole punch needs to go.
I have found that the Paper Studio planner punch (sold at Hobby Lobby) fits the Elizabeth Craft Design hole pattern perfectly.
I have just uploaded a video showing how I cut these pages to fit the A5 slim:

I will be completing my 2020 planner and demonstrating how I cut my pages, so if it's still not clear, don't worry!
Thank you for all your support this year, and I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I'll see you in 2020!
Blessings,
~Lolly
